The conference center is located in Dornburg 10 km outside Jena. Dornburg is more than 1000 years old and has three fascinating palaces located on the steep slope above the Saale river, namely the impressive structures of the Renaissance and rococo palaces and the old palace which is also the conference center. In the Renaissance palace one can visit the room where Goethe once stayed. The historic palace gardens are also well worth a visit.
